2. Surround Yourself with Smiles. Most of us have been missing our family and friends for the better part of 2020. Even for those who have started to find a balance between caution and return to our ‘new normal’, our social lives just aren’t what they used to be. Loved ones living too far to visit, a new baby, or an elderly family member we hesitate to see all take a toll. Use this opportunity to surround yourself with pictures and memories; and don’t be afraid to change them out frequently. Make a special photo wall or spread them around the house. Take advantage of online photo printing and get some of those great photos off your phone and into your home!
3. Create your own comfort. With stress levels reaching record highs, everyone needs a comfortable space to kick-back, relax and unwind, whether it be a marshmallow-soft sofa to hold the whole family, a comfy reading chair for one, or even just a luxurious soft throw blanket. Find or create your happy place, sit back, and enjoy - you deserve it!
4. Mindful Online Shopping. Even when Covid-19 becomes a distant memory (and it will!), online shopping is here to stay. Let’s face it, the convenience of shopping in our PJs is just too awesome! But despite the temptation of 2 am shopping sprees, it's important to shop mindfully not emotionally. Be sure you need (or at least REALLY want) whatever it is before you click to purchase. And do your homework. Be sure the online company has a good return policy for damaged items or even things that turn out to be ‘not quite right’ for you. Do they have a customer service phone number where you can actually reach a PERSON? Do they have good reviews? Be cautious of ‘too good to be true’ offers and don’t be afraid to comparison shop. Many companies (including Homethreads) will sometimes price match to earn your business.
