2. MEASURE YOUR WINDOW
Step 1: Measure the inside width at 3 places: the top, middle and botom. Round down to the nearest . Enter the smallest measurement on your worksheet. This is your ordering width. (Blindsgalore takes necessary deductions.)
Step 2: Measure the height at 3 places: left side, middle and right side. Round up to the nearest . Enter the longest measurement on your worksheet. This is your ordering height.
Step 1: Measure the width of the area you want to cover. We recommend adding 3 inches (1½” on each side) to help eliminate light gaps and ensure privacy. Enter this width on your worksheet; it is your ordering width and the width of the shade (no deductions will be taken).
Step 2: Measure the height of the area you want to cover including any extra overlap. Enter this height on your worksheet; it is your ordering height and the height of your shade (no deductions will be taken).
Note: The bottom panel is used as the adjustment panel to get the finished shade height. The bottom panel length will vary depending on the total shade height – shades of differing heights in the same room may have a different look. This is an important consideration when hanging shades of different heights in the same room.
